'Tis the season: Louisville's 2020 Christmas tree arrives at Metro Hall
It's beginning to look a lot like Christmas in Louisville.
The city's Christmas tree made its grand arrival to the area on Monday morning.
Sign up for our NewslettersThis year's tree was driven from Norton Commons, then placed in front of Metro Hall where it will be later decorated.
Usually, thousands of people gather in downtown Louisville for the lighting of the tree as part of the annual Light Up Louisville celebration, but the pandemic forced organizers to make some changes to this year's festivities.
Instead of the ceremony, Santa and a caravan will drive around local neighborhoods in the weeks leading up to Christmas.
