Meet Ciro, Jaxson , Bodhi and the newest members of the Port St. Lucie k-9 Team Landi and Ronin.

Just last week K-9 Ciro help put a 32-year-old man behind bars after Port Saint Lucie police found baggies filled with cocaine, fentanyl, a 45 caliber gun, steroids and amphetamine pills.

The canines don’t begin their career making arrests, it takes work in fact all of these dogs went through 600 hours of training before they even got certified.

The K-9 unit practices every week in a group setting to better home the dogs skills.

But all the pups can be found taking a break and participating in community events too.

If you want to meet one of the dogs they will be reading members of the community at Port Saint Lucie police national night out on October 4 at 6:30 p.m.
