Drivers experienced large delays and detours Monday morning on Highway 75.
A pickup crossed the centerline and hit a semi head-on near Hinton at around 10:30 a.m.
Both drivers went to the hospital with non-life-threatening injuries. They were the only two people involved in the crash between the two cars.
Southbound lanes of traffic were reopened around noon.
Hinton Fire Rescue, Hinton EMS, Hinton Police Department, Woodbury County Sheriff, Plymouth County Sheriff, and Iowa State Patrol all responded to the call.
