Volunteers cook for new Afghan neighbors in Monroeville

Several groups from around the Pittsburgh area gathered in Monroeville on Sunday to cook for new refugees coming from Afghanistan.

When the United States announced its withdrawal from Afghanistan, Pittsburgh was among the cities identified to welcome a number of evacuees.

Volunteers worked to prepare meals that will feed 15 Afghan families upon their arrival.
