After no Powerball winner for months, one ticket sold in the state of Washington matched all six numbers in Monday night's drawing.

The Powerball jackpot climbed to an estimated $754.6 million Monday marking the fifth largest jackpot in Powerball history and ninth largest U.S. lottery prize ever, officials said.

The jackpot continued to grow ever since it was last won on Nov. 19. Monday was the 34th drawing for the current jackpot, Powerball said.

Winning the grand prize would net the winner $747 million if they chose the annuity option, which would be paid out gradually over 29 years. The popular option – cash option – would give the winner $407.2 million before federal and state taxes.

The winning numbers for Monday night's drawing are 5, 11, 22, 23, 69 and the Powerball is 7. The Power Play is 2X.

Did anyone win the Powerball jackpot last night, Feb. 6, 2023?

One ticket from Washington state matched all six numbers to win the $747 million jackpot, according to Powerball. It was not immediately known where in the state of Washington the winning ticket was sold.

The winner can also choose the cash option for $407.2 million.

In addition to the jackpot winner, other million-dollar prizes were won in Monday night's drawing. A ticket bought in Texas matched all five numbers except for the Powerball and added the Power Play worth $2 million.

Five tickets matched all five numbers except for the Powerball worth $1 million. They were purchased in Michigan and New York.

What are the chances of winning Powerball?

Playing Powerball can be exciting, but just don't go spending those millions before you win. The game’s abysmal odds are designed to build big prizes drawing more players.

The odds of winning the jackpot are 292,201,338-to-1.

The odds to match all five white balls are 11,688,053-to-1.

How do I play Powerball?

Powerball tickets cost $2 per play. To play, players pick (or opt to randomly receive) five numbers from one to 69 for the white balls, and one number from one to 26 for the red Powerball.

To win the jackpot, you need to match the numbers for all five white balls and the red Powerball.

Aside from the grand prize, depending on how many balls are matched, there are eight additional ways you can win a Powerball prize across the game's non-jackpot tiers.

Non-jackpot prizes start at $4 and go up to $1 million. For an extra $1, you can opt into “Powerplay” – which multiplies non-jackpot winning prizes by 2, 3, 4, 5 or 10.

Powerball says the 10X Powerplay is only available when the jackpot is $150 million or less. The game's second-tier "Match 5" prize is capped at $2 million for the Powerplay.

An additional add-on feature called "Double Play," which gives players another chance to match their numbers after each Powerball drawing, is available in some jurisdictions for $1 per play.
