Sacramento County Sheriff's Office shares details of machete attack that 'gravely' wounded 60-year-old bicyclist
A day after a 60-year-old bicyclist was “gravely” wounded in a Rancho Cordova assault, the Sacramento County Sheriff’s Office said the man’s injuries are “not survivable.” Detectives have also identified the suspect. James Hall, 42, is believed to have hit the man in the head with a machete, spokesperson Rod Grassmann said. He is considered a risk to the public and if anyone sees him, they are asked to not approach him and instead call 911.
