Ten Arrested As Pro-Palestinian Protesters Block Cargo Ship Owned by Israeli Company

Ten people were arrested after a group of pro-Palestinian protesters blocked a port entrance on Seattle’s Harbor Island, on June 17, in protest against the unloading of cargo from a ship owned by an Israeli shipping company. Reports said the protest, organized by the Seattle-based group Falastiniyat in conjunction with other local groups, took place in to response calls from Palestinian labor unions following an escalation in the Israeli-Gaza conflict.
