Chinese President Xi, Putin discuss Ukraine peace plan
Russian President Vladimir Putin welcomed his visiting Chinese counterpart’s Ukraine plan as “the basis for a peaceful settlement, when they are ready for that in the West and in Kyiv.” Xi Jinping insisted China had always “adhered to an objective and impartial position.”
