Gunfire Erupts In Lebanon During Hezbollah Protest: What To Know

At least 6 people were killed and 32 injured in Beirut after gunfire broke out during a protest. The protest was organized by the Hezbollah group and Amal movement as they demand Judge Tarek Bitar be removed from the ongoing investigation of the 2020 Beirut port blast, which left at least 215 dead, thousands injured and neighborhoods destroyed. The army was deployed to the area to stop the violence but tensions remain high.
