Due to concerns about the coronavirus, Hasbro is prohibiting employees from taking business trips to mainland China, Hong Kong, Japan, Singapore, South Korea, Iran and Italy, a spokeswoman said Tuesday.

The travel ban applies to employees who are not already living in those locations "until further notice," the spokeswoman, Julie Duffy, told The Providence Journal. Hasbro is not the only company to announce such travel restrictions.

Gannett, which owns The Providence Journal and The Newport Daily News, on Tuesday announced restrictions on travel to the same group of countries.
