In Photos: Super Pink Moon

Microsoft News | Slide 1 of 33: A full moon rises above the Salgo Castle pictured from Somoskoujfalu, Hungary, 07 April 2020. This full moon is known as the Pink supermoon because it is the first full moon of spring.

Super Pink Moon is an astronomical event that occurs when the moon is closest to the Earth in its orbit, making it appear much larger and brighter than usual. The Pink Moon gets its name from the emergence of the first wildflowers of spring.
