Iraq sentences retired British geologist to 15 years for attempted smuggling
Jim Fitton, 66, was sentenced on Monday by an Iraqi court to 15 years in prison on charges of attempting to smuggle artifacts out of the country. He and his family argued that Fitton had no criminal intent.
