Ransomware attacks are on rise, and CBS 2 has found out why schools are especially vulnerable
CPS officials said a technology vendor, Battelle for Kids, was the victim of a ransomware attack last December, on a server that stores course information and evaluations. CBS 2 Investigator Dana Kozlov has a story from last September about how school districts can be vulnerable to ransomware.
