The Dirty Reality of Cryptocurrencies With Tett & Kraus

May.14 -- Financial Times Editorial Board Chair Gillian Tett says that the mining of Bitcoin using Chinese coal has the carbon footprint of Sweden, making the cryptocurrency dirty. Aperture Investors Chairman and CEO Peter Kraus says that the inclusion of tech in ESG funds and the interest in Bitcoin is also problematic because of their carbon footprint. He thinks that the speculative value in cryptocurrencies should be 'unbundled' from the value of transacting digitally. They join David Westin on "Bloomberg Wall Street Week."
