Paranoia and a recurring cast

The Sun reported about Putin’s address on Saturday, where they are calling the Russian President a 'puppet master' who now stands accused in the West of using ‘paid actors’ to pose as soldiers.

Ever since the quarantine period during the coronavirus pandemic, Putin has reportedly become increasingly paranoid, isolating himself and being seen only by his inner circle.

For the New Year’s Eve speech, Putin is seen standing in front of a group of people who appear to be soldiers.

However, three people from this group have become something of a recurring cast, who are often seen in different settings around Putin.

Putin is seen raising a glass of champagne to praise the war efforts when on the same day Russian missiles hit civilian targets in Kyiv, Ukraine.

Paid actors

Within the group of people who appear as soldiers, strikingly three individuals have been identified as posing in other speeches and appearances by Putin.

Tadeusz Giczan, a Belorussian journalist based in London was the first to react and identify a mysterious blonde woman who has appeared in at least three other settings with Putin, Newsweek reports:

A soldier, a sailor, a devout Christian. God moves in a mysterious way.

Jason Jay Smart, a correspondent for the Kyiv Post, is confident Putin staged the speech with actors:

As one would expect: Putin's New Year's Eve address did not even use real soldiers, but actors (that is - people rounded up from the Presidential Protection Office). The blonde woman can also be seen in his Easter address. He's as fake as the value of the Ruble.

Nevertheless, the former Ukrainian Minister of Defense, Andriy P. Zagorodnyuk, reacted by saying that this is not surprising:
