Watch: Martin Luther King III Urges Senate To Pass Voting Rights Bill
Martin Luther King Jr's eldest son Martin Luther King III, urged Biden and the Senate to pass the John R. Lewis Act on Monday. He singled out Senators Kyrsten Sinema and Joe Manchin for their failure for not passing the legislation, saying "these laws are being passed with knifelike precision to cut Black and brown voters out of the process". Republicans remain unified in their opposition of the voting rights bill after Trump fuelled election rigging remarks.
