Call of Duty content creator JGOD posted a video on his YouTube channel revealing what he thinks is the most optimized Akimbo Marco 5 weapon loadout to use at the moment in Warzone Season 4.

In Warzone Season 4, the all-new Marco 5 was advertised by the developers as "accurate from the hip with excellent close-range stopping power," as well as the first SMG in Vanguard and Warzone to feature the Akimbo Proficiency.

As such, breaking it all down in a recent YouTube video eloquently titled, "New Marco 5 SMG Fits in the Close Range Meta for Warzone," Warzone meta mastermind JGOD showcased how the Akimbo Marco 5 is a viable close-range option in Call of Duty: Warzone Season 4.

"It's not broken by any means," JGOD said in the video, "even though theoretically, it has a very good TTK. The problem is that it assumes you're hitting all your shots. And with the randomness of hipfire spread, even though the hipfire spread is fairly tight, you're going to end up with scenarios where you probably lose a gunfight that you would've just won aiming down sight with another gun."

Ultimately, being that the Marco 5 does have its fastest TTK of 421 ms when used in the Akimbo configuration, the class is definitely worth a shot for those ultra-aggressive players and game modes.

For those looking to use JGOD's Akimbo Marco 5 build, here is his class setup:

  • Muzzle: Recoil Booster
  • Barrel: Botti 285mm Custom
  • Magazine: 9mm 48 Round Drums
  • Ammunition: Subsonic
  • Optic: 1229/Slate 3.25x Custom
  • Rear Grip: Pine Tar Grip
  • Stock: Botti HF Folding
  • Perk 1: Akimbo
  • Perk 2: Quick
