To help celebrate International Women’s Day, Golf Digest asked prominent women in the industry, as well as some of our staffers, to send us a video expressing their gratitude for the female in their life who was most encouraging to pick up golf.

Our video (below) includes Judy Rankin describing how inspiring it was to attend a clinic by Patty Berg; Michelle Wie West thanking two of the game’s best for encouraging her in the game and Suzy Whaley, the first-ever female president of the PGA of America, sharing her praise for Renee Powell, a former LPGA Tour player who is a pioneer for her efforts on inclusion and diversity in the game.

We hope the below video will inspire more women to pick up golf.
