A repeat of Sergio Garcia's Masters win over Justin Rose in a playoff is out of the question, as both players failed to make the cut at Augusta National.

Rose won't play the weekend at the Masters for the first time in his career, ending a streak of 13 straight cuts made. He bogeyed his final two holes on Friday to drop one shot behind the 3-over cutline.

Garcia missed his second straight cut at the Masters since winning a green jacket after posting rounds of 73 and 75, tying Rose at 4-over. Garcia also bogeyed No. 18 to head home early. He's now missed the cut in six consecutive major championships.

Paul Casey joins his fellow Ryder Cup teammates in the group leaving Augusta early. Casey, who won the Valspar Championship two tournaments ago, shot 81-73 with only two birdies to finish at 10-over. He finished ahead of only Vijay Singh, Ian Woosnam, Jose Maria Olazabal, and Angel Cabrera.

2016 Masters champ Danny Willett, Brandt Snedeker, and 1992 green jacket winner Fred Couples are other notables who failed to make the cut.
