PEBBLE BEACH, Calif. - Tiger Woods is looking to put it all together Saturday after a frustrating start to the 119th U.S. Open at Pebble Beach.

We'll be tracking every shot from Woods' third round with live updates and shot-by-shot analysis. Follow along below.

Hole 18: Par 5, 544 yards

OFF THE TEE (3:10 p.m.): Beauty down the left side, gonna have a chance to go after this one in two and end things on a high note.

APPROACH SHOT: He's on the green in two. Smoked a fairway wood to get it to the front of the green and will have an eagle look to finish this thing out.

ON THE GREEN (3:20 p.m.): Gave it a run but can't get the eagle putt to fall. But he taps in for birdie and that's a strong finish. See you Sunday.

TIGER ON THE DAY: Even-par 71 (Even-par overall)

Hole 17: Par 3, 203 yards

OFF THE TEE (3:02 p.m.): Beauty. Sticks it to about 10 feet and you'll be hard-pressed to do better than that today. Yet another birdie chance coming up and if he makes this he'll have a legit chance to get back under par for the tournament at the par-5 18th. But we're getting a little ahead of ourselves there …

ON THE GREEN (3:06 p.m.): No dice. Couldn't take advantage of the great tee shot and calmly taps in for par. On to the last.

TIGER ON THE DAY: 1 over thru 17 (1 over overall)

Hole 16: Par 4, 395 yards

OFF THE TEE (2:48 p.m.): Another good one down the left side, sitting up in the first cut. Definitely been ready to go in that department all week. About 150 yards out.

APPROACH SHOT (2:52 p.m.): Didn't want to go after this flag and that's the smart play, lands it safely on the right side of the green and it funnels back toward the hole a bit. Gonna be a very lengthy birdie try here.

ON THE GREEN (2:57 p.m.): Yessir! Drops an absolute bomb for birdie and finally sees something go in on the greens. Tiger's not ready to pack up and head home to Jupiter just yet, folks.

TIGER ON THE DAY: 1 over thru 16 (1 over overall)

Hole 15: Par 4, 399 yards

OFF THE TEE (2:31 p.m.): Just an iron here and it's right where you want it, middle of the fairway. Let's see if he can get this thing back to even par over the last four holes, feels like it could go in either direction.

APPROACH SHOT (2:38 p.m.): Same miss we've seen quite a few times this week, short and right. Not sure if he's being more cautious since long is dead on most holes here, but the strongest part of his game over the past two years has been his biggest weakness this week. Chipping from the rough again.

AROUND THE GREEN (2:41 p.m.): Had to choke up on the club and blast it out of the thick stuff, ends up well long of the flag with another long par putt on deck.

ON THE GREEN (2:44 p.m.): So close. Burns the lip but doesn't drop and it's another bogey after that impressive birdie at 14.

TIGER ON THE DAY: 2 over thru 15 (2 over overall)

Hole 14: Par 5, 589 yards

OFF THE TEE (2:16 p.m.): Seems the broadcast has abandoned Woods' tee shots but we've got you covered. Good one at 14 in the fairway, still gonna have to lay up though. True par-5.

SECOND SHOT (2:21 p.m.): Standard layup, leaves about 117 yards.

THIRD SHOT (2:25 p.m.): Whoah! Nearly drained that one for an eagle, great wedge shot that landed past the flag and spun back inches away from the cup. Came to rest six feet below the hole. Very well done.

ON THE GREEN (2:28 p.m.): Buried it. Nice birdie there for Tiger, his first since the fifth hole. That's how you do it.

TIGER ON THE DAY: 1 over thru 14 (1 over overall)

Hole 13: Par 4, 440 yards

OFF THE TEE (2:05 p.m.): Looks like that's just about perfect, down the middle of the fairway. Gonna have about 145 yards left to the flag from there.

APPROACH SHOT (2:08 p.m.): Another miss with the irons from the fairway, frustration starting to set in there. Short and right and in the thick stuff, really putting himself in tough spots and wasting another strong performance off the tee.

ON THE GREEN (2:13 p.m.): Pretty good out of the rough and leaves about four feet. Just cleaned that up for par and it's no harm, no foul after the miscue with the irons. Onward.

TIGER ON THE DAY: 2 over thru 13 (2 over overall)

Hole 12: Par 3, 209 yards

OFF THE TEE (1:53 p.m.): Appeared like he was going after the flag on this one but left it short. Believe he ended up in a bunker down there and it's no picnic trying to get it close from that spot.

AROUND THE GREEN (1:55 p.m.): Even worse than the bunker, it's just outside of it in unbelievably thick rough. We can barely see his shoes in there. He muscles it out to maybe 12 feet and anything more than that would have been a big ask considering the lie.

ON THE GREEN (1:58 p.m.): Nope. Another bogey on the card and Tiger continues to fight it out there.

TIGER ON THE DAY: 2 over thru 12

Hole 11: Par 4, 388 yards

OFF THE TEE (1:38 p.m.): Fairway wood drifts left but hangs on to find the short stuff, looks like that's in decent shape.

APPROACH SHOT (1:42 p.m.): Whoops. Left that one short and in the thick stuff. Granted this is an unbelievably tiny green, but looks like it's gonna be a tricky chip from there.

AROUND THE GREEN (1:45 p.m.): Popped it up and bounced off a good spot on the fringe to get it in the 7-8 foot range. Really couldn't do a whole lot more from that spot and he's trying to scramble away with a par.

ON THE GREEN (1:48 p.m.): Got it. Nice par save from six feet, on to the next.

TIGER ON THE DAY: 1 over thru 11 (1 over overall)

Hole 10: Par 4, 499 yards

OFF THE TEE (1:25 p.m.): Pulls driver sends it up the left side, ball finds the bunker. Just barely bounced in off the fairway and looks like the lie will be fine.

APPROACH SHOT (1:31 p.m.): Not bad at all from there. Couldn't quite get it to the green but leaves it in a good spot short.

AROUND THE GREEN (1:35 p.m.): Chips it to two feet and cleans up for par. That'll work.

TIGER ON THE DAY: 1 over thru 10 (1 over overall)

Hole 9: Par 4, 525 yards

OFF THE TEE (1:08 p.m.): Best tee shot of the day. Absolutely smoked that one with a driver and that's huge on the toughest hole of the course playing at a mammoth 525 yards today.

APPROACH SHOT (1:13 p.m.): Eight iron from 202 yards out and it's a beauty, pin-high to leave about 15 feet for birdie. Great chance to pick up a stroke on the field, only two birdies on this hole so far today.

ON THE GREEN (1:15 p.m.): Nothing much to that uphill putt and he didn't put a good stroke on it. Just a bad stroke and another tap-in par, which you'd normally be happy with on this hole. Tiger will not be happy walking off the green.

TIGER ON THE DAY: 1 over thru 9 (1 over overall)

Hole 8: Par 4, 428 yards

OFF THE TEE (12:55 p.m.): Routine iron, middle of the fairway. Good position on a tough hole.

APPROACH SHOT (1 p.m.): Irons are looking good today. Hits the green with a 7-iron and he will have a decent birdie look coming up. This round has been all over the place.

ON THE GREEN (1:03 p.m.): Gave it a run, couldn't get it to drop. No problem finishing that up for par.

TIGER ON THE DAY: 1 over thru 8 (1 over overall)

Hole 7: Par 3, 98 yards

OFF THE TEE (12:46 p.m.): Way long, but it's safe and on the green and shouldn't give him any problems. Probably the smart play with a front pin today.

ON THE GREEN (12:50 p.m.): Gave it a good run from nearly 50 feet but the ball scoots past the cup. No problem, right? Then he lipped out the par putt from inside five feet. Bogey. Brutal.

TIGER ON THE DAY: 1 over thru 7 (1 over overall)

Hole 6: Par 5, 524 yards

OFF THE TEE (12:30 p.m.): Beauty. Center of the fairway, should have a good chance at a third straight birdie. Announcers keep calling this his least-favorite tee shot on the course but he's been in good position all three rounds. Just 218 in and a chance to really get something going.

APPROACH SHOT (12:36 p.m.): Little short and left with a 5-iron but that's fine. He wasn't totally pleased but still a great opportunity at a birdie from there.

AROUND THE GREEN (12:41 p.m.): Lag putt from about 65 feet is short and not his best. Not horrible though. Still about 5 feet left for birdie.

ON THE GREEN (12:44 p.m.): Missed it. That's a really disappointing par. Not much to say other than that. On to the best short par-3 in the world.

TIGER ON THE DAY: Even thru 6 (Even overall)

Hole 5: Par 3, 184 yards

OFF THE TEE (12:20 p.m.): Just an 8 iron and it's plenty of club, safely on the green and another look at birdie coming up. Nice shot.

ON THE GREEN (12:25 p.m.): Boom! Back to even on the day after draining that 24-footer for par, impressive rebound from that awful start. He's still hitting the ball well enough that he's capable of posting a number if the putts start to fall. Onward.

TIGER ON THE DAY: Even thru 5 (Even overall)

Hole 4: Par 4, 315 yards

OFF THE TEE (12:09 p.m.): Uneventful layup with an iron. Middle of the fairway and desperately needs to a birdie on the card to try to get some momentum moving back in the right direction.

APPROACH SHOT (12:13 p.m.): That's more like it. Had 84 yards and gets a little bit of check with the wedge, ball spins back to pin-high. Not quite tap-in range but it's close, should definitely get one back here.

ON THE GREEN (12:17 p.m.): Hey hey! Finally gets one to fall for a birdie, desperately needed that. First birdie since his second hole yesterday.

TIGER ON THE DAY: 1 over thru 4 (1 over overall)

Hole 3: Par 4, 510 yards

OFF THE TEE (11:53 a.m.): It's a 3-wood here and a fairway in regulation. Hugged that right side of the short stuff and will have just 120 yards from there. Let's see how those wedges look.

APPROACH SHOT (12 p.m.): Another surprising miss there, comes up well short on the right side near the bunkers. Not sure if it's sandy or not but either way another puzzling mistake. Just doesn't quite have it this week.

AROUND THE GREEN (12:02 p.m.): Without much of an angle to the flag, Tiger just aimed a good 30 feet away from the pin to the middle of the green. He's just gonna eat the bogey and make sure to avoid a big number here. Probably smart but means that was a two-shot mistake from the fairway.

ON THE GREEN (12:04 pm.): Raced it past the hole on the right side, still has a few feet left to save bogey. Just made that 4-footer and he's on with limited damage. Course gets much more difficult after the first seven holes so tough sledding ahead.

TIGER ON THE DAY: 2 over thru 3 (2 over overall)

Hole 2: Par 4, 515 yards

OFF THE TEE (11:39 a.m.): Pulls wood and it's a good one, hugging the left side of the fairway safely away from the bunkers and trouble over on that side. Good example of Tiger's ability to make sure one bad mistake doesn't carry over to the next shot.

APPROACH SHOT (11:45 a.m.): Really good with a 6 iron. Bounces it on the front of the green and rolls past the cup a little bit. Looks to be 10 feet or less and he'll have a chance to immediately atone for that opening bogey with a birdie here.

ON THE GREEN (11:50 a.m.): The putting woes continue. Not his best effort from 10 feet and it's a tap-in par. Uninspiring start but plenty of golf left.

TIGER ON THE DAY: 1 over thru 2 (1 over overall)

Hole 1: Par 4, 376 yards

OFF THE TEE (11:27 a.m.): Misses the first fairway with an iron. Lost it to the left and it's in the rough. Not the start he was hoping for and that's a shot he usually has no issues with. Looked good on the range this morning but we all know how that goes.

APPROACH SHOT (11:31 a.m.): Had 166 yards and couldn't get it there out of the gnarly rough. Really took a chop at that one. It's short but in good shape, shouldn't have trouble making par from there.

AROUND THE GREEN (11:35 a.m.): Well maybe he will have trouble making par. Leaves it well below the hole and gives himself a real tester for par right out of the gate. Not ideal.

ON THE GREEN (11:36 a.m.): No dice. Missed the 14-footer just on the outside of the cup and it's gonna be a grind from here now 10 shots off the lead.

TIGER ON THE DAY: 1 over thru 1 (1 over overall)

Pre-round

Woods has been consistently good off the tee and a tad less productive than normal with the irons. He had a great putting day Thursday and bailed himself out on the greens en route to an opening-round 70. The putter went ice cold Friday in Round 2, when he hit plenty of greens but missed six birdie attempts of 20 feet or less.

He was cruising around with a streak of 29 consecutive bogey-free holes before slipping with back-to-back bogeys Friday for a highly-disappointing 1-over 72.

That dropped him to even par for the tournament and he's now nine shots back of leader Gary Woodland, who carded a 6-under 65 to take a two-shot lead over Justin Rose entering Saturday's Round 3.

Woods gets going at 2:27 p.m. ET alongside Byeong Hun An.
