West Palm Beach's Ryan Nana Tanke finishes third in Drive, Chip and Putt National Finals
A Palm Beach County youth golfer nabbed a top-three finish in the 2021 Drive, Chip and Putt National Finals on Sunday, held at Augusta National.
Ryan Nana Tanke of West Palm Beach finished third in the boys 7-9 group with 18.5 points out of a possible 30. Golfers could receive up to 10 points in three categories: driving, chipping and putting, with those points added together to create an overall score.
Nana Tanke, who had previously competed in the national finals, received the maximum 10 points in the driving category, 5 points for chipping and 3.5 points for putting.

The boys 7-9 winner, Lucas Bernstein, finished with 23 points.
Two other golfers from Palm Beach County competed, with Jupiter's Reese McMillan finishing ninth in the girls 7-9 category, and Morgan Rodriguez of Delray Beach tying for eighth in the girls 12-13 group.
Only 10 golfers in each age group qualified for the national finals.
All 80 golfers at the national finals were invited back after last year's event was canceled due to the coronavirus pandemic.
This week, Augusta National will host the Masters, which starts Thursday.
