The Dodgers minor league affiliates fared better on Sunday than on Saturday, but overall had a tough day. The only winners were the Rancho Cucamonga Quakes, Great Lakes Loons and Arizona League Dodgers Mota teams.

Triple-A Oklahoma City

The Dodgers quickly fell behind in a 10-2 loss to the Las Vegas Aces (Diamondbacks). Recently acquired minor league catcher Jose Lobaton hit a 2-run home run to contribute to the only Dodgers scoring of the day.

Right-handed pitcher Justin De Fratus returned to Triple-A after spending two months with Tulsa and had a rough welcome. In 5 23 innings pitched, De Fratus was charged with allowing eight runs (seven earned) on nine hits and two walks, including three home runs. It was his fourth loss with the OKC and 12th loss of the season.

Double-A Tulsa

The Drillers outhit the Naturals on Sunday, but ultimately fell 3-2.

Leo Crawford had another great start, providing the Drillers with five solid innings. He only allowed five hits and two walks while dealing seven strikeouts. He allowed a run, but he was not charged with the earned run because there was a throwing error by Connor Wong.

Tulsa went 3-for-13 with runners in scoring position and stranded a total of 12 runners on base. Angelo Mora and Errol Robinson each had an RBI in the loss.

Class-A Rancho Cucamonga

The Quakes got back on track on Sunday with a 10-1 win over Stockton (Athletics). They were two outs away from completing a shutout when Brandon Montgomery threw a wild pitch to allow the Ports get on the board.

Other than this small blemish, the Quakes pitching was flawless. Michael Grove and Jose Martinez combined to pitch eight scoreless innings. Martinez, who made his Rancho Cucamonga debut, carried most of the load with his five-inning, four-hit appearance. He also dealt five strikeouts while preserving a 0.00 ERA with RC.

Jordan Procyshen led the team with two home runs and four RBIs. Jacob Amaya and Dillon Paulson also had a pair of RBIs each.

Class-A Great Lakes

The Loons rallied for a 5-run inning in the 7-4 win over Bowling Green (Rays).

James Outman carried the inning with his grand slam for his 12th home run of the year. Romer Cuadrado also hit a home run to complete the huge inning.

Edward Cuello earned the win for pitching three scoreless innings. He only allowed one hit and two walks in the outing. It was his second time pitching with the Loons after being recalled on Aug. 10. He now has six scoreless innings under his belt with one combined hit.

Advanced Rookie Ogden

The Raptors didn’t look like themselves in a 13-9 loss to the Idaho Falls Chukars. They committed five errors (including three in a row) that resulted in four runs. A balk in the fourth inning also contributed to another allowed run.

Outfielder Aldrich De Jongh had a team high of three RBIs in the loss, going 2-for-5 with a home run and base hit. Cesar Mendoza hit a pinch-hit home run in the sixth inning for the second Ogden homer of the day.

Kevin Malisheski earned the loss, falling to 5-4 this year. He pitched 3 13 innings and allowed five earned runs on six hits and two walks. He delivered five strikeouts.
