The city of Boston has gotten used to championship parades in recent years, so they should know how to handle themselves. Apparently, some fans don't realize they shouldn't be throwing full cans of beer at the players, especially the front runner for AL MVP, Mookie Betts. Take a look:

Thank goodness he has hands of gold and awareness.

Betts wasn't the only one or thing to have a beer pelted at. One of Boston's four World Series trophies was damaged after a full beer can hit it.

On top of Betts and the trophy having to worry about flying beers, a fan in the crowd was hit with a beer and had to go to the hospital to get stitches.

I mean, this is just silly. A.) you are wasting a good beer and B.) you are hurting people and damaging property. You wouldn't think it would need to be said, but full cans shouldn't be thrown at the players and in a crowded place full of people.
