UFC Vegas 41: Paulo Costa vs. Marvin Vettori live results and highlights
After one of the more bizarre build-ups of a UFC main event this year, Paulo Costa and Marvin Vettori, two recent UFC middleweight title challengers, will be competing at light heavyweight when they square off in the UFC Vegas 41 main event.
The pair were originally booked for a 185-pound main event, but Costa caused a stir earlier in the week by admitting he wasn't going to be able to make the weight limit. Originally, a new 195-pound catchweight was agreed to, but that had to be changed again to a 205-pound fight.
Vettori took a portion of Costa's purse as a result of the weight changes, and the two had a heated face-off at the weigh-ins yesterday.
Both men are recent challengers of Israel Adesanya, with "The Last Stylebender" defeating Costa at UFC 253 in September 2020 and Vettori at UFC 263 in June.
