SportsRadio 94WIP icon and beloved Philadelphia legend Big Daddy Graham, born Edward Gudonis, passed away on Wednesday evening.

Big Daddy was one of the most popular and well known voices on SportsRadio 94WIP, entertaining the area nightly over the last two decades. In addition to talking Philadelphia sports fans through the many ups-and-downs over the years on 94WIP, Big Daddy was also known for his love of music, his stand-up comedy routines, the many books he wrote and the television shows he stared on.

While his impact and list of accomplishments at 94WIP are long, Big Daddy’s legacy at the station can currently be seen through his daughter, Ava Graham, who stars each morning on the morning show.

Angelo Cataldi opened up the morning show on Thursday morning remembering Big Daddy, with station employees sharing their memories as well.

"WIP lost one of its best people, and this city lost one of its cherished, most talented entertainers," Cataldi said. 'We all here at WIP are devastated by the news."

Many tweets have poured in, including one from Big Daddy's daughter and 94WIP Morning Show contributor Ava Graham.

Ava spoke about her father on Friday's 94WIP Morning Show.

There are currently no details about a memorial service, but they will be shared once they are available.
