In the first 7 vs. 7 Varsity Touch Football game in Vermont history, Colchester defeated Mount Abraham/Vergennes 36-20.

After the game, Colchester's Captains were excited about the historic milestone.

"Oh that's awesome, that's the first time I'm hearing that, that's sweet...a lot of it just comes down to catching the ball. In the second half we really got it together. Keeping our head in it. Just catching the ball, keeping our head in it," Colchester's Brody Stannard said.

"It feels pretty good, we got something in the record books...I think everyone just coming together, playing football as a team and teamwork is all it is really," Colchester's Max Grenier said.
