Conor McGregor was rear-ended while riding his bike on a country road today. In a video the MMA fighter posted on Instagram, we see the aftermath: a rattled McGregor taking stock of the situation, his bike, and himself. “A sun trap, the driver couldn’t see me," McGregor said in the post. “Full spreed straight thru me. Thank you God, it wasn’t my time.”

McGregor seems to be shaken but thankfully appears to be physically alright. It looks like McGregor suffered a little road rash—his pants ripped on the fall—but he looks OK otherwise.

The driver, whose name is Nick, apologized for the incident. Nick then offers to assist McGregor as well as give him and his bike a lift home, which McGregor accepts. “Yeah mate, that bike's f**ked,” McGregor said.

As Nick drives McGregor home, the Irish-born fighter is thankful it wasn’t worse: “I 'm still here, thank god. All that matters.”

McGregor is no novice when it comes to riding bikes. In the lead up to his 2017 boxing match with Floyd Mayweather, McGregor would often get cardio sessions in on his bike.
