Henderson Co. football ends season early due to COVID-19
HENDERSON, Ky. (WFIE) - The Henderson County football team’s season is officially over.
Henderson County High School confirmed the news on social media Wednesday, citing COVID-19 related issues as the reason behind the decision to call the season.
The Colonels were one of only four local Kentucky schools still in the KHSAA Playoffs.
The team was set to play McCracken County on Thursday night.
