Taylen James rushed for 161 yards on 22 carries and scored three touchdowns, the latter on a 39-yard TD in the fourth quarter, as host Marion-Franklin (1-1) edged Westland on Friday night. Jeramiah Tucker passed for 181 yards and Jesse Johnson made six receptions for 102 yards to aid the Red Devils' cause. Westland had 100-yard rushers in Peterson Iresne (142 yards) and Tyquwone Workman (139, four touchdowns).

Dublin Coffman 45, Gahanna 20

Dublin Coffman (2-0) ran through visiting Gahanna (0-2), putting up 311 yards rushing in the Shamrocks' victory. Moussa Diallo had 154 yards and a touchdown on 14 carries, and Jameel Williamson added 106 yards and two scores on five carries. Quarterback Connor Mathews was 12 of 21 passing for 138 yards and two touchdowns.

Upper Arlington 49, Belmont 6

Chris Schweisthal scored four touchdowns and Upper Arlington (1-1) routed Dayton Belmont (0-2) to christen its new stadium. Sam Cannon, Carson Gresock and Dino Gesaurus also scored for the Golden Bears, who jumped to a 28-0 halftime lead.

Westerville Central 56, Grove City 7

Judah Holtzclaw threw three second-quarter touchdown passes and finished with 275 yards as Westerville Central (2-0) pounded host Grove City (0-2). Holtzclaw completed 18 of 23 passes -- 10 to Luke Swaney, who had 175 yards and two TD catches. Rickey Hyatt Jr. added 103 yards rushing and four touchdowns.

Northmont 37, Pickerington North 17

Keaton Kesling's 354 yards passing and four touchdowns were too much to overcome as host Pickerington North (0-2) dropped a nonleague game to Clayton Northmont. Idris Lawrence churned out 98 yards rushing for the Panthers. Dom Myers threw for 213 yards but also was intercepted five times.

Reynoldsburg 41, Licking Heights 7

Dijon Jennings completed all nine pass attempts for 128 yards and two second-quarter touchdowns as Reynoldsburg (2-0) cruised over visiting Licking Heights (0-2). Jennings added 71 yards rushing, and Michael Whatley also threw for 113 yards with a score. James Dean led the Raiders with 85 yards receiving.

Olentangy Liberty 19, Wayne 10

Corbin Parrish completed 22 of 27 passes for 222 yards and two touchdowns and host Olentangy Liberty (2-0) scored 12 points in the fourth quarter to rally past Huber Heights Wayne.

Mount Vernon 21, Newark 0

Mount Vernon (2-0), led by Wyatt Gregory's 129 yards rushing, gained 493 total yards on the way to a shutout over visiting Newark (0-2).
