Marilyn Franklin and Libby Gutterman retain their seats on the Nicolet School Board

Marilyn Franklin and Libby Gutterman have retained their seats on the Nicolet School Board. 

Franklin secured the most votes with 3,331 (about 38% of votes), and Gutterman claimed the second seat with 2,288 votes (26%).

Robert Cronwell was third with 1,675 votes (19%). Julie Greig Reindl was fourth with 1,494 votes (17%).

Results are not official until they are canvassed.

Franklin said she will continue to represent and advocate on behalf of all students, parents and taxpayers in the school district.

"It is important to remember that elected school board members make decisions that ultimately affect all stakeholders far into the future," she said. 

"At Nicolet, with the right leadership we'll continue to prepare our students well and make the taxpayers proud of the area in which they live," she added.

Gutterman thanked every voter for their support.

"I am honored to continue to serve our community as a Nicolet School Board member, and I appreciate your support of Nicolet High School," Gutterman said.

Cronwell and Reindl were not available for comment.
