CLEVELAND, Ohio – Conor McGregor may be getting ready for UFC 246 fight against Donald Cerrone this Saturday. But MMA’s biggest star is already looking ahead to something bigger and far more lucrative.

In a recent interview with ESPN’s Ariel Helwani, McGregor admitted he’s interested in a rematch against Floyd Mayweather Jr. or a fight with Manny Pacquiao inside a boxing ring.

"I'd like to rematch Floyd," McGregor said on Helwani's MMA Show. "I think we should rematch Floyd. I mean, he's flirting with it. He can go and pick someone else, [but] it's not gonna be the same."

McGregor fought Mayweather in 2017, losing by 10th-round TKO in what was surprisingly an entertaining fight with a heck of a buildup. The event drew more than 4 million pay-per-view buys in the U.S. and earned McGregor close to $100 million, according to Forbes.

It’s rumored McGregor will make $5 million for his fight with Cerrone on Saturday, which would be a record payday for a UFC fighter. Of course, McGregor knows where the real money is, telling Helwani an offer has already been made on a fight with Pacquiao.

But McGregor appears to be waiting on Mayweather. There have been reports UFC President Dana White and Mayweather have a handshake deal for Mayweather to come out of retirement to face a UFC star in a boxing match. Of course, McGregor will have to get past Cerrone first.
