Mercer, Holding, shortstop Joey Bellini and right fielder A.J. Bumpass all homered for the 30-29 Bearcats.

Garrett Schoenle earned the win on the mound for UC, coming on in relief and allowing one earned run over four innings while holding the Huskies (36-23) to three hits.

The Bearcats now earn a trip to the NCAA Tournament, where the school hasn't gone since 1974. UC will find out who they play on Monday at noon on the selection show on ESPNU.
