Seth Rollins and Braun Strowman opened the Clash of Champions pay-per-view tonight (Sun., Sept. 15, 2019) at the Spectrum Center in Charlotte, North Carolina, losing the Raw tag team titles to Robert Roode and Dolph Ziggler. Strowman blamed Rollins for the loss while Seth said it didn’t matter.

That’s because they closed the show battling over the Universal championship.

The story of the match was the fact that Rollins had to throw the kitchen sink at Strowman to put him away. That started with Rollins hitting a Stomp and Strowman kicking out at one. Shocked, he hit another. Strowman kicked out of that too. Absolutely gobsmacked, he hit one more. Strowman kicked out yet again.

What the hell?!?

After all that, Strowman was about to make a comeback but his knee — which he hurt doing a dive off the top rope — gave out. This allowed Rollins to set up and go out all with a Pedigree and one more Stomp.

That was enough to score the pinfall.
