Philadelphia 76ers star James Harden is on his way to the Hall of Fame once his career is done. He has won multiple scoring titles. He has won an MVP. He has had success everywhere he’s gone in his career. The only thing missing on his resume is a title.

Therefore, Harden can serve as an inspiration for some of the young stars in this league. Minnesota Timberwolves star Anthony Edwards, for example, decided to use Harden as inspiration to get bigger and add weight.

Harden is a strong player who uses his body to get to the rim and his IQ to draw fouls from opponents. Edwards looked at The Beard, and he wanted to do the same for his body.

Edwards has had a pretty good start to his NBA career; he averaged 20.3 points and 4.7 rebounds though his first two seasons. If he continues to use Harden as inspiration for his career, then maybe he can put together a similar Hall of Fame resume.
