NBA All-Star Weekend has finally started! There will be plenty of events going on throughout the next several days. Though the Wizards will be well-represented, Bradley Beal won’t be part of the main event this Sunday.

On Thursday night, Ben Golliver of The Washington Post caught up with TNT analyst Charles Barkley. He said along the way that players who claim to be “NBA All-Star snubs” aren’t snubs at all.

Beal, as we are aware, is an apparent All-Star snub. But the Wizards were clearly among the NBA’s worst teams. So I can safely assume that Barkley doesn’t think Beal deserved to make the game this season.

Beal got wind of the video and posted this:

The Wizards have played better basketball as of late since Beal was snubbed or “snubbed,” depending on what you think about it all. Personally, I think this discussion is water under the bridge at this point.

But do you agree that high performers on bad teams aren’t All-Star snubs, if they are left out of the team? Let us know in the comments below.
