The Chicago Bulls held a team meeting on Sunday, the day after suffering an absolutely disastrous loss.

The Bulls were hammered by the Boston Celtics at home on Saturday 133-77. The 56-point margin of defeat was the largest in franchise history. Things were so bad that new head coach Jim Boylen benched his starters in the third quarter, figuring they were better off saving energy for a practice than wasting it in a blowout loss.

Bulls players held a players-only meeting to start practice.

How screwed up are the Bulls? They are having a dispute over who called for the players-only meeting. The players said they did it, while Boylen said he decided to have meetings instead of practice.

Chicago is now 6-21 on the season in what is clearly a rebuilding year. They are destined for a high pick in next year’s draft.
