To whoever runs the Twitter account for the Los Angeles Clippers, you had one job!

We've seen that NBA Twitter accounts can get pretty ruthless throughout the season, but this latest incident was just a total head-scratcher.

In honor of International Women's Day, the Clippers wanted to honor those celebrating by promoting their sponsorship partner Bumble as well.

Clearly that was a major mistake, as they posted photos of Ayn Rand, Anne Frank, and Maya Angelou, which definitely grabbed everyone's attention.

Obviously the Clippers had the right intention here, but they truly dropped the ball. Although the entire tweet received criticism, fans were the most irate with the decision to show Anne Frank, because, WHY is that a person to advertise?!

How about Maya Angelou, who went through such hardships for her activist movements?

Executing this poorly just makes them seem ignorant to these three women's tough upbringings and struggles.

Even though the Clippers currently are hanging onto the final playoff spot in the Western Conference, they took a major L with this social media disaster.
