Jeff Green, who provided a boost off the Rockets bench as a range-shooting center, agreed to a one-year deal with the Brooklyn Nets, a person with knowledge of the deal said.

Green will join his former Oklahoma City teammate Kevin Durant with the Nets, pairing the only active players to have played for the Seattle SuperSonics.

Green, the fifth pick of the 2007 NBA draft, averaged 12.2 points on 44.2 percent shooting, 33.4 percent 3-point shooting in 18 games with the Rockets last season, his 12th.

The Athletic first reported Green’s deal with the Nets.
