LeBron James continues to rewrite the NBA's record books in Year 17.

The Los Angeles Lakers superstar made his 12,000th career field goal during the first half of Monday's game against the San Antonio Spurs, becoming just the fifth player in NBA history to reach the milestone.

The 34-year-old already sat fifth in career field goals made, having passed Kobe Bryant last season.

James could ascend up more all-time lists this season. He currently ranks 10th in career assists and is within striking distance of Gary Payton's 8,966 dimes.

He's also projected to finish the campaign inside the top 10 all time in minutes played.
