Paul George and Russell Westbrook are each among the betting favorites to win the 2018-19 NBA MVP award, according to the latest set of odds by online sportsbook BetDSI.

While James Harden is now the favorite to win the award, George and Westbrook come in at ninth and 10th, respectively, in the recent release from the sportsbook.

As George and Westbrook each have odds to win the award, it seems reasonable to think that George has the best chance to win since he is having a career year and Westbrook has struggled to shoot this season.

What also works against Westbrook is the fact that he has previously won the award and the voters tend to choose a new candidate to win, barring a spectacular season.

There is still plenty of basketball left to be played so the odds will certainly continue to change as the year progresses but it looks as though George and Westbrook could be in the running all year long.
