The Western Kentucky men's basketball team faced the Memphis Tigers in the second round of the 2020 Crossover Classic on Thanksgiving.

WKU celebrates win vs. Memphis

Members of the Western Kentucky men's basketball team celebrated its win against the Memphis Tigers as WKU guard Taveion Hollingsworth put the placard up representing its win and advancement in the Crossover Classic.ย 

Kenny Cooper, Taveion Hollingsworth seal winย 

WKU guard Kenny Cooper hit a free throw with 4.1 seconds left to put the Hilltoppers up 73-69 against Memphis. WKU guard Taveion Hollingsworth then drew a foul from Memphis guard Landers Nolley II, and Hollingsworth hit two free throws that put WKU up 75-69.ย 

Luke Frampton 3-pointer

WKU guard Luke Frampton hit a right-wing 3-pointer to cut the Memphis Tigers' lead to 18-17 with 8:28 left in the first half.ย 

Charles Bassey dunk

WKU center Charles Bassey threw down a two-handed dunk from the left block on an assist by Carson Williams that put WKU up 4-3 against Memphis with 18:15 left in the first half.ย
