GREEN BAY - The Hawks built a 12-point halftime lead and survived a second-half rally from the Hornets to escape with the win.

Charlie Pfefferle scored 35 points to lead Xavier, Carson Hehli scored 16 points and Jake Miller added 12 points.

Tommy Michaels led Preble with 25 points and 18 rebounds. Reese Berg scored 15 points, Sam Hummel had 12 points and Sheldon Jean-Baptiste added 10 points.

Carter Zimmerman scored 28 points inlcuding 18 in the first half, to lead Algoma. Kaden Vardon and Owen Robertson added 12 and 10 points, respectively.
