USC loses their second post player in one week as sophomore Victor Uyaelunmo will reportedly transfer out of the program.

USC depth will get a little bit smaller at the post position. Per Evan Daniels of 247 Sports, Sophomore forward Victor Uyaelunmo will transfer out of USC.

Uyaelunmo committed to USC as a three star center out of Calvery Christian Academy in Miami, Florida back in 2017. During his freshman season, Uyaelunmo played 15 games where he only logged 3.5 minutes per game and started 1 game. This season the sophomore center saw minimal playing time in 28 games played, staring in three of them due to depth issues.

This will be the third player to transfer out of the program since December. Sophomore guard Jordan Usher transferred to Georgia Tech following a suspension due to a team conduct issue. On Tuesday there were reports that freshman forward J’Raan Brooks will seek a transfer from USC.

The departures leaves USC with only one player in their front court, however there’s plenty of upside for the team. Trojans Forward Nick Rakocevic will return for his senior season. They’ll also have two of the top high school players in the state of California in five star forward Isaiah Mobley and five star center Onyeka Okongwu. Both will likely see early playing time and give USC plenty of talent in the front court.
