Rewinding Oregon State Beavers’ 63-61 overtime win against USC Trojans in women’s basketball
CORVALLIS — Kennedy Brown hit a layup that beat the buzzer in overtime and lifted the Oregon State Beavers to a 63-61 victory over the USC Trojans in a Pac-12 women’s basketball matchup Friday night at Gill Coliseum.
Oregon State’s Ellie Mack had her shot blocked by USC’s Rayah Marshall with three seconds left, and the ball fell to Marshall. But Brown took it away and banked in the winner as time expired.
Talia von Oelhoffen finished with 31 points, scoring 17 in the fourth quarter as the Beavers (10-5, 3-2 Pac-12) rallied to force overtime. The Trojans (9-8, 2-5) had led by as many as 10 in the third quarter.
Brown had 11 points and eight rebounds for Oregon State.
