Danny Lewis, the recruit in cringeworthy viral video with Brian Kelly, chooses Alabama over LSU

Danny Lewis Jr. was a bit of an unknown across the nation until this week.

But, LSU's Brian Kelly helped make him a household name after the LSU coach was shown putting his best moves on 2022 tight end prospect, in a video that was seen over eight million times on Lewis' Twitter feed.

Lewis is a three-star player according to 247Sports.com who was considering Alabama, Florida, Cincinnati, Indiana and a host of other schools ahead of National Signing Day. 

Now, the tight end has made his decision. 

LSU, right? Wrong.

Alabama, which already had the No. 1 overall class in the country during the Early Signing Period, landed Lewis over LSU and Florida on Wednesday.

It's not immediately known if the dancing video helped or hurt LSU's chances of securing Lewis' commitment, but the internet sure latched onto it.
