BYU-Pepperdine game rescheduled for Jan. 27
Although BYU basketball had its first three West Coast Conference games on the schedule postponed, causing a scramble that led the first Gonzaga game of the season to be bumped up, the Cougars have gotten one of their postponed games back.
The men’s basketball game between BYU and Pepperdine, which was originally scheduled for Dec. 31, has been rescheduled for Jan. 27 in Malibu, California.
The Waves were set to be the Cougars’ league opponent, but COVID-19 related issues within Pepperdine’s program put pause on the matchup. The same happened with the San Diego game Jan. 2 and the Pacific game Jan. 7, which the league is still trying to reschedule.
Meanwhile, the Cougars are on deck for Thursday’s game at Saint Mary’s.
