Lincoln Riley locked in two big commits over the holiday weekend for Oklahoma.

Caleb Williams, the nation’s top 2021 dual-threat quarterback according to 247Sports’ composite rankings, and four-star cornerback Latrell McCutchin committed to play for the Sooners on Saturday.

Williams, who stands at 6-2, weighing 210 pounds, chose Oklahoma over Alabama, Clemson, and numerous other schools. The top-ranked quarterback from Gonzaga HS in Washington, D.C. also sits as 247Sports’ fourth-best prospect overall.

Williams has the chance to continue the trend of top-tier quarterbacks to come through Riley’s offense in Norman. In his first few years on campus, Riley has already produced College Football Playoff runs featuring Heisman Trophy winners Baker Mayfield, Kyler Murray and Alabama transfer Jalen Hurts.

McCutchin ranks 11th-best at his position by 247Sports. The 6-1 cornerback from Austin, Texas weighs 176 pounds, and chose the Sooners over multiple other offers including Baylor, Texas A&M, and SMU.

The Sooners now have 11 commits in the 2021 class, ranking 14th overall in the nation according to the 247 composite rankings.
