Deion Sanders thinks he could have been a star in a third sport
Deion Sanders was a great athlete during his time but did he miss his calling?
In this day and age, Deion Sanders is known for being one of college football's most transcendent coaches.
The new face of Colorado football has consistently been in the headlines for landing top recruits and hosting stars such as Lil Wayne, but before he took over the college football headlines as a coach, he was a hell of an athlete.
Sanders is one of the best athletes the sports world has ever seen playing both football and baseball professionally. His football career saw him be named to eight All-Pro teams, win two Super Bowls, and was also inducted to the Hall of Fame. On the diamond he hit a career .263 and stole 186 bases in 12 seasons in the MLB. However, despite both of these impressive feats, Sanders recently might have found his true calling, lacrosse?
Sanders was the type of athlete that likely could have excelled at anything if given the time to prepare, so it's not that outlandish. His swagger, confidence, and exuberance are exactly why people such as Joel Klatt and Urban Meyer believe he will turn Colorado around.
While Sanders may be reminiscing of what could have been on the Lacrosse pitch, his attention will surely be on getting the Buffs in position to go from bottom feeder to contender.
