The man who died in a fatal Buckeye motorcycle accident on Sunday was identified as a 19-year-old Army National Guard member who had moved to Arizona from Illinois.

Officials say Edgar Acevedo died after his motorcycle collided with another motorcyclist in front of a Love's Travel Stop south of Interstate 10 on Miller Road.

The two motorcyclists were taken to a nearby hospital where Acevedo was pronounced dead. Police didn't offer an update on the other rider's condition, but said their injuries appear to be non-life-threatening.
