Former Buff Solomon Wilcots joins Jim Rome on Radio Row, raves about Deion Sanders

Super Bowl week is here, and Radio Row is always a fascinating event for all those involved.

One former Colorado Buffaloes player, Solomon Wilcots, made his way to Radio Row and hopped on The Jim Rome Show.

He touched on quite a few things, but obviously, the biggest one was Deion Sanders and the impact he has made at Colorado in just a couple of months.

Here’s what Wilcots said about Coach Prime when asked if Deion can rebuild the program:

“Im almost certain that he can.”

That’s a massive endorsement from somebody who played for Bill McCartney, who himself brought the Buffs program to relevance.

Now, the question is, how is Sanders already making so many changes? For Wilcots, it’s simple:

“He’s a leader. He’s a winner…Why wouldn’t you want to play for Coach Prime?…He’s got charisma. Hes been there and he’s done that.”

Sanders certainly has been there and done that. He had a terrific career in the NFL, and a career in the MLB as one of the rare athletes to be successful in multiple professional sports.

All eyes are on Sanders, but he is getting massive praise from a ton of people, and Wilcots is all-in on the new-look Buffs.
